The Lake County Quilt Trail joins California to over 24 other states, honoring classic American folk art.  Lake County completes the coast to coast clothesline of quilts. The first barn quilt, located at the Hill Creek Ranch barn, sits amid 4 ½ acres planted with wine grapes and 48 olive trees along Highway 29. The barn features the pattern ‘Square on Square’ in bright red, white, and blue, while rustic animals graze below. Many more quilt barns are planned for summer installation.
